Therapy Services

“It is rare to find anyone who listens carefully and thoroughly. It is rare to find our stammering understood, our clumsy speech deciphered, our garbled syntax unraveled, sorted out and heard — every syllable attended to, every nuance comprehended. Our minds are taken seriously. Our feelings are taken seriously. When it happens we know that what we say and feel are immensely important. We acquire dignity. We never know how well we think or speak until we find someone who listens to us.” — Eugene Peterson

Testimonials

Nate was able to navigate my counseling sessions with acute attention to immediate needs, as well as deeper, reoccurring beliefs and behaviors regarding my emotional and mental health that I needed to examine. I never felt like Nate was telling me what I wanted to hear, but his kind honesty was so often what I needed to hear without realizing it.
— Erica
I showed up to my first counseling session drowning in the weight of my past and present circumstances, terrified I wouldn’t find the help I needed. Through our sessions, Nate offered insight and safety without judgement, that allowed me the freedom and space I needed to find healing.
— Amy
I began working with Nate for individual and couples therapy at a low point in life. Nate has a gift for drawing out my stories/emotions in a way that is both gentle and impactful. He listens and guides as a friend would. I am thankful to know him, and I trust him to help others in need.
— Jenny
With Nate, I experienced an atmosphere of safety and vulnerability that allowed me to express my emotions without fear of judgement or condemnation. He created a space for me to navigate the pain of my heart, which led to healing and growth in many of my relationships.
— Kyle
Before I started counseling with Nate, I didn’t really have any hope or expectation of changing the mindset that I was living in, because I didn’t think that was possible. But after starting sessions and being able to process things I had been avoiding, there was an evident shift in the way I thought, and there was growth in aspects of my life I thought were never going to change.
— Maggie
Working with Nate helped me to discover more of the depths of my identity. Throughout the process, I was guided by thought provoking insights to dig deeper, search wider, and discover who I am within.
— Lance
